Niseko

Niseko is located in the southwestern part of Hokkaido on the northern island of Japan.  It’s nestled in a hilly district surrounded by Mount Yotei (in the east) and Mount Niseko Annupuri (in the north). The Niseko Ski area is made up of five main resorts areas.
The ski resort of Niseko has earned a worldwide reputation as one of Japan’s best, in a country that boasts the world’s best powder.  It has a snowfall average of up to 15 metres  in the winter season and an average temperature of -5 degrees Celsius.
Grand Hirafu is where most of the accommodation, restaurants, bars and ski lifts are located.  With vast ski slopes and powdery light snow, skiers and snowboarders alike will immensely enjoy and remember this powder haven for many years to come, and very likely will return to Japan again and again.

Higashiyama

Higashiyama, or Niseko Village as it’s commonly referred to, combines adventure and nature with superb facilities and amenities. Located only two hours from Sapporo’s Chitose Airport and twenty minutes to the west of Hirafu, it offers access to thousands of acres of skiing. Situated at the base of Niseko Annupuri mountain, is the Hilton Niseko Village Hotel. This hotel provides a perfect access point to the powdery slopes of the mountain as well as offering a range of accommodation options and hotel facilities.

Rusutsu

Rusutsu is an upmarket ski resort on the powder paradise island of Hokkaido, approximately between one and a half hours to two hours from Sapporo’s Chitose airport. Rusutsu offers some of the best tree skiing in Japan and its extensive terrain park is one of the countries best. Rusutsu ski resort features a modern lift system, including four gondolas, seven quads and seven lifts, 37 ski runs, totalling 42 kilometres. The resort servicing the area is Rusutsu Resort, at the foot of the mountain. Its facilities are wide and varied including many restaurants, game centres, an indoor wave pool, a large hot springs bath-house and karaoke rooms.
